5k run details:
Begin & End @ Widmeyer Park
Proceed E. on main St.
Right on Pa. Ave. (toward rail/trail)
West (right) on Rail/Trail for approx. 1 1/4 miles, runners will come to a turnaround & come back approx. 3/4 mile where runners will exit the trail. The course then continues with a slight incline on South St. where it will reconnect with Md. 144 (W. Main St.). This will begin the 1/4 mile downhill decent to the finish@ Widmeyer Park
Distance will be marked on the trail by markers & people will be stationed along the way
Runners will be timed in (men/women) groups (see registration form for details)
1st 2nd & 3rd will receive medals in each group
Walk details
Begin @ Widmeyer Park
Proceed e. on Main St. to Joseph Hancock Park
East (left) on the rail/trail
Markers will be on the trail at turn around & people will be stationed along the way
Fire police will be stationed along the way to assist with directions & will direct you back to Widmeyer Park where activities will continue: enjoy music by DJ Fossil & Co.
